Mars Attacks! Storyboard Martian Ray Beam Destroys Jeeps on Las Vegas Strip

This is a production used storyboard from the 1996 film Mars Attacks!, starring Jack Nicholson as President James Dale. These were used by the production team for post production VFX work.

Three-panel storyboard from the Las Vegas invasion sequence, showing a high-angle tracking shot of four military jeeps driving down the Las Vegas Strip as a Martian saucer ray beam takes them out one by one. Notes indicate the last jeep is hit first, then the 3rd jeep explodes, with the lead jeep shown in the final panel.

The storyboard ships in a clear sheet protector, packed with protective padding inside a rigid cardboard envelope, and boxed in an oversize outer box via USPS Priority Mail. It is accompanied by a custom certificate of authenticity featuring a color photo of your specific piece, holographic and embossed anti-copy seals, a counterfeit-resistant background, and full production and item details — all housed in a rigid protective case.

Please note: while this is a genuine production used piece — distributed and utilized during the making of the film — it is not the hand-drawn original artwork. Production copies of the original were made and issued to directors, editors, and special effects staff for use on set. This is one of those copies.
